We had a wonderful mini vacation with Grammy in August at York Beach. It gets more and more fun as the kids get older! I loved watching them explore tide pools (Gavin even drank luke warm tide pool water), chase sea gulls, play in the sand, and run in and out of the waves. Colby fell in love with the light house and thoroughly enjoyed having a pool footsteps from his door where he could practice swimming. We walked every morning to our donut shop for coffee and treats and then walked back along the beach watching the dogs, chasing birds, and looking for sea shells. We enjoyed ice cream at Brown's and the boys played on the rocks by the light house. Colby was so sad when we left and told me he would miss "Grammy's beach house".
