Let summer begin! We said goodbye to Lola at daycare since she will be starting kindergarten next year. I cannot imagine Sarah's without her since Colby and her have been best buds since before either of them were a year old. Next year, Sarah will have all boys at daycare....better her than me! Six of them! Colby continues to be a funny little boy who looks out for his little brother. He is so clean and cautious; the complete opposite of Gavin. Gavin has begun to express himself a lot more this month...he says lots of names...."Grampa", "Lola", "Sirus", "Gato", "Paul".....makes all of his animal noises (my favorite is the horse which is more of an airy giggle than a neigh).....and says cute little phrases like "not me", "no mama", "stinky butt", etc. He and Colby wrestle all of the time and he continues to copy everything Colby says and does, including temper tantrums and attitude. He looks up to Colby so much. I love it! Colby will now recite the books to Gavin that he knows by memory and even helps Gavin get his shoes open and open his car door. Gavin is trying to be independent and everything is "No mama, no mama, me do it!" from buckling himself in to getting him water. Dare I say it....Gavin is even sleeping through the night!!!!
