July has been a busy month, but I am so lucky to have the summers off to spend with my boys. Gavin is in full motion constantly and the boy has no fear! He loves to climb...stairs, chairs, and anything he can pull himself on top of to stand on (tables, desks, beds, etc.) He is persistent and not easily distracted from going after anything he is not supposed to have. He is nearly running now and babbles up a storm. He waves goodbye, gives high fives, and is starting to blow kisses. Colby has been practicing riding his scooter and bike in the driveway and is getting quite good at it. He loves to help cook, clean, and take care of Gavin. He sings his "ABC's", "Five Little Ducks", "You are My Sunshine", and "Life is a Highway" (from Cars). He has become quite the water baby and loves to show off his doggy paddle and how he can jump into the pool. He is quite the talker and very inquisitive....he has definitely hit the "why?" phase. He had his first dentist appointment and did an excellent job! He loved showing off his "clean teeth" and was a little sad when dinner came because he had to get them dirty! We are still working on potty training....hopefully, he will be there by the end of the summer.
