First Mother's Day

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day and Joe and Colby made sure it was the best. Joe bought me a pear tree (he has done that for Julie when each of the nephews was born) and Colby managed to get out and get me some calla lilies. Joe made me a lovely dinner of steamers and Colby was quiet enough for us to almost eat a full dinner together (he cried for a few hours straight a little later to make up for it:)). I also had surprise cards from family and friends and our neighbor, Robin, bought me a beautiful hanging basket. Overall, it was a wonderful day....now I have to start planning for Father's Day!
